In the latest episode of Leaders Talk, CMG's Zou Yun sat down with Taoiseach of Ireland Micheal Martin during his visit to China, exploring pathways for China-Ireland cooperation under the new phase of China's development.

Taoiseach Martin emphasized the strong complementarity between the two countries in fields such as artificial intelligence, agri-food, and education – areas where Ireland's digital expertise, sustainable farming and academic excellence align closely with China's innovation drive and growing market demand.

He also highlighted that Ireland, with its highly digitized economy and skilled talent pool, is well-positioned to collaborate with China in emerging technologies, while its high-quality agricultural products continue to gain popularity among Chinese consumers.

During the visit, a symbolic moment saw the signing of multiple Sino-Irish university agreements, further strengthening educational ties and fostering people-to-people exchanges. This forward-looking dialogue not only reinforced bilateral relations but also set a collaborative tone for practical and sustainable partnership in the years ahead.
