CMG reporter in Tehran: Iran calls for unity during unrest

01:53

CMG reporter Li Jiannan in Tehran reported on the latest situation amid Iran's ongoing internet blackout. Local food delivery and ride-hailing services remain operational, traffic is running normally and supermarkets are well stocked with food and daily necessities.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said the current unrest in Iran is the result of a U.S. conspiracy and stressed that Iran will not back down in the face of riots directed by the United States and Israel.

Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said earlier that Iran distinguishes between public demands and the actions of rioters.
