Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has accused the U.S. and Israel of attempting to "sow chaos and ‍disorder" in Iran by ordering "riots."

Pezeshkian also urged Iranians ‍to ‍distance ⁠themselves from what he called rioters and terrorists. Protests are escalating across Iran, driven by deepening frustration over the nation's struggling economy due to sanctions.
