Robots skied, pulled sleds, and even threw snowballs at the first Jingyue Robotics Ice and Snow Fun Competition, which kicked off in Changchun City, northeast China's Jilin Province, on Saturday, blending winter sports with cutting-edge technology.

The competition featured a series of fun and challenging events, such as sled transport, snowball tossing, and sled racing. Various intelligent devices, such as humanoid and four-legged robots, left the lab and went onto the snow to test their stability, precision, and endurance in the real world.

With the development of technology, we may soon be gliding down slopes with a robot dog, enjoying a guided tour led by a humanoid robot, or watching a team of robotic arms perform an ice dance.
