Delingha in northwest China's Qinghai Province is now home to 302 terrestrial wildlife species, including 79 nationally-protected animals, according to the latest surveys. Populations of rare species such as the snow leopard and black-necked crane remain stable, reflecting effective habitat protection, professional patrols and eco-compensation measures that have reduced human disturbance and strengthened the region's ecological resilience.
