With temperatures plunging below minus 20°C, Kangbao County in Hebei Province — located around 260 kilometers north of Beijing and home to the Kangba Noel National Wetland Park — has kicked off its Ice and Snow Carnival.

Running for over a month, the event is designed to blend icy landscapes with local folk culture, featuring snowmobile rides, ice drifting, traditional farming experiences, and snowfield parades, offering visitors a taste of winter thrills and rustic charm in the heart of northern China.
