The China Media Group's fleet of 4K and 8K ultra-high-definition broadcast vehicles arrived at Milan's San Siro Stadium on Monday, with less than a month remaining until the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics opening ceremony on February 6.
This marks the official transition of CMG's broadcasting work for the 2026 Winter Olympics from the preparation phase to operation phase.
After completing customs clearance at the Port of Livorno, the fleet traveled north along Italy's western coast. Guided by security personnel at San Siro Stadium, the fleet entered the designated parking area while the technical team will soon start relevant work according to the schedule.
After previously covering the 2024 Paris Summer Games, the vehicles will produce the 8K international public signal for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2026 Winter Olympics, as well as several key competitions.
