Hainan's Sansha welcomes island's 1st sea turtle eggs of 2026

On January 6th, Ganquan Island in Sansha City, Hainan Province, witnessed the arrival of the first sea turtle this year to come ashore, build a nest, and lay eggs, making it the first place in the Xisha Islands marked for protection of sea turtle eggs in 2026.
