During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), China expanded cooperation with Belt and Road partner countries, with bilateral trade volume growing steadily and accounting for over half of China's total foreign trade, said Bao Shujun, director of the Foreign Liaison Office at the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission, in an interview with CGTN's Li Mengyuan. A multidimensional connectivity framework encompassing land, sea, air, and cyberspace has been largely established, laying a solid foundation for deepening economic, trade, industrial capacity cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges, Bao added.
