Recent cold snaps have turned Tongtian Gorge in Pingshun, Shanxi Province, into a spectacle of cascading icefalls and icicles stretching for several kilometers. Similar scenes have emerged at The Huangyadong Cultural Tourism Area in Licheng, where clusters of icefalls are drawing photo-seeking visitors.
