U.S. forces have seized another sanctioned oil tanker, Veronica, in the Caribbean Sea, saying it had ties to Venezuela as Washington steps up enforcement of oil-related sanctions. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said the ship defied a U.S. quarantine on sanctioned vessels, with Marines, sailors and a Coast Guard team boarding the tanker from the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford. It is the sixth tanker seized as the United States seeks to curb Venezuela's oil exports.
