The "Will for Peace 2026" maritime exercise, involving BRICS members China, Russia and South Africa, wrapped up on January 16 near South Africa's Simon's Town. With an eye on strengthening cooperation and regional stability, China's Tangshan destroyer and Taihu supply ship participated in the exercise, which featured drills on maritime security and rescue operations.
