Thousands of protestors are gathering across Denmark in solidarity with Greenland. It comes on a day when U.S. Democratic Senator Chris Coons said Greenland faced no "pressing security threats" despite President Donald Trump's desire to control the Arctic island. Senator Coons is leading an 11-member bipartisan delegation to Copenhagen that has been meeting with the leaders of Denmark and Greenland, hoping to reassure them.
