Focusing on actual combat requirements, the Ground Force Aviation Academy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) recently organized cross-day-and-night flight training for its cadets.

Footage shows helicopters taking off in sequence as the cadets carry out a series of exercises, including formation flying, mountain-area navigation and tactical airspace maneuvers, challenging low visibility and scarce visual references at night.
