From ice bumper cars and go-karts to the popular "ice-top hot pot," a wide range of recreational and dining experiences are on offer on the frozen surface near the shore of Bosten Lake in Xinjiang, as the area has been developed into a comprehensive winter park.
Covering more than 1,600 square kilometers, China's largest inland freshwater lake attracts large numbers of ice-and-snow enthusiasts each winter. This year's Bosten Lake ice and snow season will run through March, featuring a packed lineup of events, including drone and fireworks displays, a local Spring Festival gala, and Lantern Festival celebrations.
