An explosion that occurred around 3 p.m. at a factory in western Baotou City, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, has left two people dead and five missing. A total of 66 people have been taken to the hospital, including three in serious condition.

Rescue efforts are ongoing, and the cause of the explosion is under investigation.
