The exhibition titled "Twin Stars Illuminating the World: The Ancient Shu Civilization of the Sanxingdui and Jinsha Sites" opened on Sunday at the National Museum of China in Beijing. It brings together more than 200 cultural relics from the Sanxingdui Museum, the Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum, the Sichuan Archaeology Research Institute, the Chengdu Archaeology Research Institute, and the National Museum of China. The relics reveal both everyday life and the spiritual world of the Shu ancestors, expanding our understanding of China's Bronze Age civilizations. The exhibition also highlights the close cultural links between the ancient Shu civilization, the Central Plains, and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
