In mid-January, over 30,000 migratory birds, including grey cranes and ruddy shelducks, arrived at the Muzart River Basin in Baicheng county, in northwest China's Xinjiang Autonomous Region. Against the vast wetlands, they glide and wheel, adding life to the winter landscape. Local ecological efforts have steadily improved habitats, attracting more species to winter here.
