Japanese people are welcome to come to China and see pandas, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a press briefing in Beijing on Wednesday. Guo made the remarks in response to a media query regarding the upcoming return of a pair of twin giant pandas currently on loan to Japan. The giant pandas Xiao Xiao and Lei Lei, who currently reside at Tokyo's Ueno Zoo, are scheduled return to China before February.
