Barry Brown lit up the court with game highs of 26 points and six assists, as defending champions the Guangsha Lions dismantled the Beijing Royal Fighters 102-79 in a commanding road performance on Wednesday in the CBA.

Guangsha came out strong, with Brown orchestrating the offense from the start by setting up Zhu Junlong for an early three-pointer, giving the visitors a 14-8 lead. Sun Minghui quickly found Brown again, this time for a corner three, before the Lions extended their edge to 35-18 at the end of the first quarter.

The connection continued as Brown dished to Zhu for a fastbreak layup, maintaining a comfortable 17-point advantage. The reigning CBA Finals MVP then showcased his shooting prowess with a deep triple, while Rayjon Tucker contributed a couple of his 12 points to help push Guangsha's cushion to 65-42 at halftime.

In stark contrast, the hosts from Beijing struggled to find their rhythm after the break, posting a dismal 41% hit rate from the field, nearly 20% lower than their opponents.

Reggie Perry's performance was a lone bright spot for the Royal Fighters, as he was the only player to score in double digits with 21 points. Ultimately, the home team fell by 23 points, provisionally leaving them sitting in 12th place.

The victory marked the seventh in a row for the Lions, cementing their grip on the top spot in the standings.
