Residents in a Russian city, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, are digging out after the heaviest snowfall in decades brought daily life to a standstill, with roads blocked and cars buried in snow.
Authorities say the extreme weather is the worst in around 60 years, forcing emergency services to respond across the city.
