In response to U.S. President Donald Trump's recent criticism of the United Nations, Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, Farhan Haq, emphasized the UN's efforts to improve its efficiency through initiatives like "UN 80." Haq also reiterated the organization's commitment to working for peace, upholding international law and addressing the root causes of conflict.
