China's wind power: Trump vs. reality

"China has no windmills," U.S. President Donald Trump said at Davos.

The internet responded with facts. China has led global wind power for 15 consecutive years, surpassed 600 GW in installed capacity, and now generates 40 percent of the world's wind energy.

While China builds, exports and scales wind power, Trump mocks it – even as his own policies stall U.S. projects and push clean-energy investment away.
