Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo will pay an official visit to China from January 25 to 28, 2026, at the invitation of Premier Li Qiang. During the visit, Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with Orpo, while Premier Li Qiang and China's top legislator Zhao Leji will hold separate talks with him.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Thursday that China stands ready to work with Finland to further elevate China–Finland relations.
