From the overarching strategic layout of south China's Greater Bay Area, Hong Kong has emerged as the latest pivotal node in the CLED cinema market network, by giving a hall of its Gala Cinema a substantial upgrade. The theater now features a cutting edge CINITY LED (CLED) cinema projection system on a large-scale screen.

The newly installed 10-meter-wide screen marks the formal entry of CLED projection tech into Hong Kong's film market, revitalizing local film exhibition. CLED screens are understood to take LED displays a step further, offering a clearer, more vivid viewing experience. Since its upgrade, Hall 5 – with its 197 seats and a fitted screen – has hosted many local film fans who have flocked to "sample" this new tech, finding novel pleasure in their movie-watching.
As an integral part of the broader development of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, the arrival of CLED cinema technology in Hong Kong provides robust support for the high-quality growth of the regional cultural industry.
Fu Ruoqing, Chairman of the China Film Group, said that the group initiated the development of the "CINITY science" product line five years ago to carry both the cultural confidence and technological confidence of a "Created in China" product.
