Venezuelan acting president Delcy Rodriguez on Friday called for the immediate convening of a broad meeting involving all political sectors of the country to launch a national dialogue focused on concrete outcomes.

Speaking at the Sol del Peru Hall of the Miraflores Palace, the seat of the government, Rodriguez asked head of parliament Jorge Rodriguez, in his capacity as president of the Council for Sovereignty and Peace, to organize the meeting with all political actors, both aligned and opposing, under an inclusive approach.

Rodriguez stressed that the dialogue process must be strictly national in nature, rejecting any form of external imposition on the country's internal political dynamics.
