China's wind power generation by industrial enterprises above the designated size reached a new high of over 1 trillion kilowatt-hours in 2025. China's installed wind power generation capacity reached about 640 million kilowatts by the end of 2025. It accounts for over 16 percent of the country's total and has ranked first in the world for 15 consecutive years. China plans to add a combined installed capacity of over 200 million kilowatts of wind and solar power in 2026.
