Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo arrived in Beijing on January 25 for a four-day official visit to China. CGTN Stringer spoke with residents in Helsinki to gather their impressions of China and perspectives on bilateral relations.
Finnish student Mark Pokidko noted that "China has gone through major changes in recent times. It has developed rapidly and become more important in global politics and development."
Reflecting on China–Finland relations, he said, "The relationship between the two countries is quite proper and focused on handling real problems. It isn't just theoretical and symbolic. It's genuinely practical and tries to take into account matters that actually require attention."
