Lebanese Presidency: President Joseph Aoun received the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Ambassador Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, and discussed with her the general situation in the country, particularly in the south, in light of the continued Israeli attacks on southern towns. Ambassador Plasschaert affirmed the United Nations’ commitment to monitoring the situation in the south and continuing to work to establish stability and security there.
