Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Tuesday that China welcomes Finnish enterprises to "take a swim in the vast ocean of the Chinese market" to enhance their global competitiveness. The president made the remarks during his meeting with Finland's Prime Minister Petteri Orpo in Beijing. CGTN's Chen Lanyou spoke with Jiri Mantysalo, vice chairperson of the Communist Party of Finland and he stressed the importance of stable trade ties with China. He also expressed hope for deeper business collaboration, particularly for Finland's small and medium-sized enterprises.
