Two Komodo dragon eggs hatched on January 20 and 25 at Taiyuan Zoo in Shanxi Province through parthenogenesis, without any contact with a male. Both hatchlings are healthy, marking China's first recorded case and only the fourth confirmed success in zoos worldwide.
