China successfully tested a commercial, reusable rocket engine on January 29. The 200-second ignition test marks a key step in developing more cost-effective rockets that can be launched multiple times. The engine, developed by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation's (CASC) Academy of Aerospace Propulsion Technology, uses liquid oxygen and kerosene and is designed to power a new generation of reusable rockets in China.
