The Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt is set to reopen in both directions, according to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office, allowing Palestinians to travel in and out of Gaza for the first time in nearly two years. The move follows a ceasefire agreement reached in Egypt last October, after Israel closed the Palestinian side of the crossing in 2024 during the war on Gaza.
