British Prime Minister Keir Starmer described his China trip as a "historic visit" at a reception in Shanghai on Friday. He said that great opportunities lie with greater engagement between the two countries and urged business representatives to make new connections at the event.
Starmer also visited Shanghai's iconic Yuyuan Garden, where he sampled local tea and bought traditional snacks, highlighting cultural as well as business ties.
