China has remained Uruguay's largest trading partner for over a decade. CGTN reporter Chen Lanyou spoke with Martin Mercado, deputy executive director of Uruguay XXI, a national agency that promotes Uruguay's exports and investments. Mercado says it is time for Uruguay to expand the already robust economic relations with China, especially under the current global trade situation.
