CMG's outside broadcast studio in Livigno will go live for the first time on Friday, bringing comprehensive coverage of snowboarding and freestyle skiing during the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games.

The studio has had to tackle the challenges of mountainous terrain and unpredictable weather with a fully domestically developed 4K EFP system, in a bid to deliver clear visuals of the snow-covered slopes while maintaining operations in extreme cold.  

Enhancing the studio's charm, a dedicated display will feature four Zodiac-themed "Bing Dwen Dwen" mascots, symbolizing the journey from Beijing to Milan. The design is complemented by warm colors, a simulated fireplace, and comfortable seating arrangements, all intended to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere for the athletes.
