International Olympic Committee President Kirsty Coventry visited the Olympic Village in Milan, taking the opportunity to explore its transformation ahead of the upcoming Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games.

During her visit, she engaged with an impressive intelligent robot developed by a Chinese partner, highlighting the fusion of technology and sport.

Located in southeast Milan, the Village also welcomed local dignitaries, including Milano Cortina President Giovanni Malago, members of the IOC Executive Board, and the IOC Athletes' Commission.

Coventry emphasized the Village's evolution since its construction, describing it as the "heart of the humanity and care of the Games." Following her remarks, the group moved to an exhibition hall showcasing displays from various Olympic partners. Coventry, the first female president of the IOC, expressed keen interest in the innovative robot.

Among the attendees were IOC member Zhang Hong and Ding Ning, the Chair of the Olympic Council of Asia Athletes' Commission and Liaison to the IOC Athletes' Commission. Coventry's itinerary also included a tour of the athletes' residential zone.
