China said on Wednesday that its position remains unchanged on maintaining the stability and security of the global industrial and supply chains for critical minerals, emphasizing that all parties have the responsibility to play a constructive role in this regard.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian made the remarks at a regular press briefing in response to a question regarding the U.S. plan to host the first "Critical Minerals Ministerial."

Lin reaffirmed China's consistent stance that all countries need to follow the principles of the market economy and international economic and trade rules. He also emphasized that all parties should step up communication and dialogue, jointly keep the industrial and supply chains stable and unimpeded and promote the steady growth of the global economy.
