A Canadian artist who has lived in Jingdezhen for 36 years is telling China's story through porcelain.

Jingdezhen is China's world-renowned "Porcelain Capital." Philip Read blends the spirit of the Year of the Horse with China's high-speed rail in a porcelain panel painting. For him, both the horse and the train symbolize speed – one rooted in tradition, the other in modern innovation.
