Technology-driven protection spurs wild donkeys' comeback in Gansu

Infrared cameras, drones and ground patrols in Annanba Wild Camel National Nature Reserve in northwest China's Gansu Province have repeatedly captured images of active herds of Tibetan wild donkeys. Once rarely seen, the nationally protected species now appears regularly in groups, expanding its range. It's clear evidence of a steadily recovering population, thanks to effective, tech-powered conservation.
