Britain's De Montfort University in the central English city of Leicester said on Wednesday that it's aware of a very serious incident that happened around its campus.

The university said in a ‍statement that it was working with Leicestershire Police, which has launched an immediate investigation. Meanwhile, lawmaker Liz Kendall said in a post on X that the incident occurred on Tuesday evening.
