Foreign Minister Wang Yi hosted the Chinese Foreign Ministry's 2026 New Year reception on Thursday.

Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, noted that in the new year, the world has become even more turbulent, posing severe challenges to peace and development.
