Spring Festival visits to the grassroots: 'Nation's Children' guard the border across generations

Both of Gang Baolida's parents were orphans relocated to the Inner Mongolia during the "Three Thousand Orphans Entering Inner Mongolia" period. As a descendant of what are called the "Nation’s Children," Gang has spent years dedicated to road rescue work along border defense highways. During his Spring Festival grassroots visits, Gang travels deep into the grassland to mediate neighbour disputes and explain China's ethnic unity and people-oriented policies in simple, accessible language.
