On January 29 local time, the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands held a Spring Festival reception. Chinese Ambassador to the Netherlands Shen Bo, Director-General of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Fernando Arias, Dutch Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management Robert Tieman, along with other political figures and friends from various sectors, attended the event. More than 300 people were present, including overseas Chinese residents in the Netherlands, representatives of Chinese-funded institutions, and Chinese students.

A promotional video for the Year of the Horse Spring Festival Gala produced by China Media Group was screened at the reception, adding a strong festive atmosphere to the event. At the same time, cultural and creative products such as the "Spring Bowl" and "Spring Plate" were unveiled, marking the official launch of China Media Group's series of promotional activities for the Year of the Horse Spring Festival Gala in the Netherlands.
