Taicang port zone of Suzhou Port is China's only inland port with full seaport status. Its container throughput has exceeded 8 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), ranking eighth nationwide and 20th globally. Taicang Port's global shipping network links more than 200 ports across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and South America, forming a seamless river-to-ocean logistics system. In 2025, vehicle exports through the port surpassed 800,000 units, making it the largest auto export port in Jiangsu and along the Yangtze River.
