In the vast grasslands of Jarud Banner in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Bai Yongsheng has operated a "mobile court" on horseback since 2009. Carrying the national emblem across an 8,000-square-kilometer jurisdiction, Bai brings justice to remote pastoral communities by blending legal principles with local wisdom.
