An Arab proverb says friends are life's sunshine. China-Arab friendship stems from ancient Silk Road exchanges, joint national liberation struggles and win-win development cooperation. Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit told CGTN's host Wang Guan that under strategic guidance from Chinese President Xi Jinping and Arab leaders, practical cooperation has deepened, with China remaining their top trading partner for years. Chinese-built infrastructure landmarks – Egypt's "New Pyramid" skyscraper, Algeria's 1,200+ km East-West Highway, Qatar's Lusail Stadium and Morocco's record-span Mohammed VI Bridge – stand as vivid proof of shared growth.
