A group of humanoid robots recently visited CMG's studio in Milan, ahead of the second edition of the World Humanoid Robot Games. The reigning champions from last year's inaugural Games have extended a global invitation and launched a worldwide "energy relay", timed to coincide with the Olympic torch relay.
The inaugural World Humanoid Robot Games took place in Beijing last August. More than 280 teams from 16 countries competed across 26 events, including the first-ever 100-meter humanoid robot sprint. The Games set multiple historic milestones for the development of humanoid robotics. Beijing will host the second edition this August.
