China will host APEC for the third time in 2026, with more than 300 events planned throughout the year. These will culminate in the APEC Economic Leaders' Week in November in Shenzhen, including the CEO Summit and Economic Leaders Meeting. Chen Xu, chair of the APEC 2026 Senior Officials’ Meeting, says APEC members view APEC China Year as an opportunity to align regional and global development.
