A suspect in the shooting of a Russian lieutenant general has been detained in Dubai, UAE, Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) said on February 8.

The attack occurred recently when a man opened fire on Lieutenant General Vladimir Alekseyev at an apartment building in Moscow.

The FSB said the suspect is a Russian citizen and has been extradited to Russia.
